Regional Handball

On the 8th May, after winning the Birmingham schools round, we went to represent the school at the West Midlands final. Unfortunately due to clashes with exams we were unable to take our full year 10 team so we asked the ever so talented year 9s to step in. Being relatively new to the game they really showed promise and the competition was fierce, narrowly missing out to place in the semi-finals. However, we did place 6th in the West Midlands which is a great achievement. Mrs Gardner is looking forward to seeing what the future holds in terms of school Handball.

The team consisted of Estelle Asante, Jiya Bhrath, Georgia Campos, Christina De Sousa, Ayesha Hussain, Vahreena Kaur, Maaya Karotane, Simran Lalli, Emily Macza, Isabella McLean, and Simran Soraya Watson.
