Practice University Interviews | Newsletter
Over the course of late November and early December, over 70 students from Year 13 have had the opportunity to practise for their upcoming university interviews. A panel of over thirty volunteers, mainly parents but also other friends of the school, has come into school to quiz the girls on their motivation for their chosen courses, how they have demonstrated their interest so far and what they have learned through work experience and wider reading.
The feedback (in both directions) has been heart-warming: the interviewers have been very impressed with the commitment the girls have shown to gaining subject knowledge and real world experience; and the girls have valued having the opportunity to explain to an unfamiliar person why they want to pursue their particular course. Overall, a very worthwhile exercise and one which we hope to continue in future years.
