Exams
Welcome to the Examinations Office. Students across the country are entitled to expect their exam system to be efficient, reliable and supportive. The success of any Examinations Office is not only dependent upon these characteristics but also the fostering of a stress-free environment for the students. Indeed, the smooth running of examinations is essential to the Centre’s overall effectiveness.
Use the links below to access useful information regarding examinations. We will be updating the forms area frequently in the hope that pupils & parents will be able to download forms as and when they are required. This area will also display upcoming deadlines (e.g. re-sit deadlines) and also any relevant fee information.
Please feel free to contact us using the details below and we will be happy to answer any queries you may have.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – PLEASE READ
Examination boards, in conjunction with the Joint Council for Qualifications, have put in place an examinations contingency day for the 2020 summer series. The contingency day is Wednesday 24th June 2020, and students should remain available up to and including this date, should an Awarding Body need to reschedule any examination. We are therefore recommending that holidays are not taken until after this date, irrespective of when your daughter’s last timetabled examination is scheduled for.
Should you have any questions regarding your daughter’s upcoming GCSE or A-Level examinations, please do not hesitate to contact Miss Tomkinson in the Main School Office.

Certificate Collection
We hold examination certificates for two years after the date of issue. After this period, they will be securely destroyed either by shredding or incineration. If you request your certificates but the originals have been destroyed, you will be advised to contact the Awarding Bodies directly to discuss the issue further. If you are unable to personally collect your certificates, you must provide a written letter, naming the person collecting on your behalf. They will be asked to show some form of identification on collection. Certificates cannot be posted. Please see the examinations policy for more information. Please remember that it is your responsibility to ensure you have collected your certificates.
Rules and Regulations
Candidates must ensure they have read and understood the following regulations from JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications). Posters will appear outside exam rooms and hard copies have been distributed in the Exam Regulations booklet 2019-20. Spare copies are available outside the Exams Office.
