King Edward VI Handsworth School for Girls is celebrating its best-ever haul of offers from Oxford and Cambridge. Eleven students have been made offers to study courses from Physics to Theology. They include sisters Eloise and Harriet England who were both awarded offers, one from Oxford and one from Cambridge.

Acting Headmistress Clare Berry said, “all the students still have plenty of work to do to achieve the grades needed, but we are delighted that so many have been offered places at Oxbridge. This success is a combination of extremely hard-working students, excellent contacts at the Universities and the support freely given by staff”. Congratulations to:
